It doesn't seem to matter what the quote terms are, they pay alot less when you arrive with your scrap car. Dishonest and no integrity Accepted quote for my scrap car online this morning drove 1.5 hours to them for them to say they will only pay £300 as it's a non runner, despite being fully complete without parts missing and working engine etc. Please go and scrap your cars in somewhere with integrity and honesty. This is the first time I've ever used this scrap yard and what a waste of a day. I even tried to negotiate extra money as I've got 4 more to scrap tomorrow as in a recovery truck driver it's a regular gig. Very annoying. Now for my 1.5 hour drive home empty handed
If you know exactly what you want and if they've got it, you're a winner! ...but you need some mechanical background or someone dedicated who happens to be a mechanic, of course. Still, this is a good place to go if you can't afford new parts.
