Bad company and very dodgy prices. I called up to ask the price of scrap cable before visiting. They said it was £1000 per tonne. When I turned up there was bits of metal all over the road I had to move to avoid getting a puncture. They unloaded my car with me, all the cable together, and tipped it into the skip. When I went to collect my money they said the price was £750 per tonne because the cable was mixed types. Other scrap dealers do not do this and they did not make a point of this on the phone. They also lied to me about the percentage of copper in the cable which I researched afterwards. (Light bros made out the cable had only 20% copper which is false) Feel like I was taken advantage of as it was too late to reject the price by the time they told me it was 25% lower than stated 2 days prior. Will not use again.

Dropped off a very small quantity of metal whilst passing by and for my trouble was accused of stealing from the yard by some jobsworth in a hi-vis jacket! All very well having CCTV at the yard, but probably best to actually bother to review it and get your facts straight first before making unfounded slanderous accusations...
